The MDMC programme is open to applicants with a solid academic background and a strong interest in data management and curation. Candidates are expected to meet both academic and technical requirements to successfully engage with the programme.
Applicants must hold, by the start of the programme, one of the following qualifications:
- Diploma from an Italian Higher Technical Institute (ITS), or
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, or an equivalent academic qualification
Proficiency in English is required, as all lectures and teaching materials are delivered in English.
Applicants are expected to have:
- basic Python programming skills
- a basic mathematical background (equivalent to undergraduate Mathematical Analysis)
- basic statistical knowledge, including probability theory, hypothesis testing, and model comparison
Candidates must also have access to a personal computer with a Linux environment.
